Meals on Wheels LaPorte County relies on people just like you to lend your time and talent to help us deliver hot meals to seniors, disabled individuals and citizens unable to prepare meals for themselves.
Volunteers are needed to deliver meals. Average time for a route is one hour.
Volunteers may be the clients only personal contact for the day, so your attitude can brighten a seniors day.
As much as some will want to visit with you, it is necessary to be on your way quickly, as the food in the car will be getting cold.
No more than 16 meal recipients are on a route.

Volunteer Qualifications
- Must be over the age of 18
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have proof of auto insurance
- Physically able to deliver meals
- No criminal record
- Provide 2 references
